1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using ispectAI, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use our service.
2. Service Description
ispectAI is an AI-powered learning platform that helps you create quizzes, practice with spaced repetition, and improve your knowledge retention. We provide:
- AI-generated quiz questions from your content
- Intelligent feedback on your answers
- Spaced repetition scheduling for optimal retention
- Progress tracking and analytics
3. User Accounts
- You must provide accurate information when creating an account
- You're responsible for maintaining the security of your account
- You must be at least 16 years old to use ispectAI
- One person or entity may not maintain multiple free accounts
- You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized account access
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the service for any illegal purpose
- Upload content that infringes intellectual property rights
- Attempt to reverse engineer or hack our systems
- Use automated systems to access the service without permission
- Harass, abuse, or harm other users
- Upload malicious content or malware
- Circumvent usage limits or abuse free trials
5. Content & Intellectual Property
Your Content
You retain ownership of content you upload. By uploading, you grant us a license to process it for providing our services (e.g., generating questions, providing feedback).
AI-Generated Content
Questions, explanations, and feedback generated by our AI are provided for your personal learning use. You may use them freely for personal study.
Our Content
The ispectAI platform, design, and underlying technology remain our intellectual property.
6. Payments & Subscriptions
Pricing
We offer free and paid plans. Prices are displayed in your local currency and include applicable taxes. We may change prices with 30 days notice.
Billing
Subscriptions are billed monthly or annually in advance. Payment is processed securely by Polar.sh.
Plan Changes
- Upgrades take effect immediately, pro-rated for the billing period.
- Downgrades take effect at the next billing cycle.
Cancellation
You can cancel anytime from your account settings. You'll retain access until the end of your billing period.
AI Tokens
Some plans include AI tokens for content generation. Unused tokens do not roll over between billing periods. Token usage is tracked in your dashboard.
Refunds
We offer refunds within 14 days of initial subscription purchase if you're unsatisfied. Contact info.ispectai@gmail.com.
7. Limitation of Liability
ispectAI is provided "as is." We strive for reliability but cannot guarantee uninterrupted service. We are not liable for:
- Service interruptions or data loss
- Accuracy of AI-generated content
- Your learning outcomes or exam results
- Third-party services or content
Our maximum liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
8. Termination
By You
You can delete your account anytime from settings. We'll delete your data as described in our Privacy Policy.
By Us
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, with notice when possible. Serious violations may result in immediate termination.
9. Changes to Terms
We may update these terms. Significant changes will be notified via email or in-app. Continued use after changes means acceptance.
10. Governing Law
These terms are governed by German law. Disputes will be resolved in German courts. EU consumers retain their local consumer protection rights.
